The Bowler

The Bowler takes the viewer on a fifteen minute journey into the illicit economic existence of the hustler; a lifestyle in which a handshake carries greater legal weight than any document. By using this narrative, Sean Dunne (American Juggalo) actively raises questions concerning the nature of the everyday existence, in particular themes of financial security, family values and trust.

The central character in this film, Rocky Salemno, is a combination of every Hollywood Italian-American stereotype with one important difference: his character has not (as yet) been portrayed by someone else. So before HBO picks up a series based on his life, enjoy a rare opportunity to meet him first.
